I got great value for my money at Villa Tortugas in Akumal. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a small kitchen. The location was peaceful, tucked away in a beautiful garden with a swimming pool and adorable turtles. The staff, especially Denis and David, were helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The food for breakfast could have been better, but it's not a dealbreaker.

The price was excellent. The room was spacious, although a little bit uncomfortable.

The bed was terrible.

This is a great base to explore the region. By car its 5 min. To Akumal beach, 20 to Tulum, 30 to Playa del Carmen and 45 to Cancun. Driving is easy along the coast. The hotel consists of cabins in well landscaped setting. The cabins are studio apartments with cooking facilities and nice clean bathrooms with hot water. They all have porches and the area is really quiet. There is a nice pool central to all rooms. Its owned by an Italian couple who are very accomodating and helpful. This is a very nice place to relax at the end of the day.

The room was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchenette. The pool was stunning and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and offered a great laundry service.

The location was quite secluded, making it difficult to get to restaurants and shops without a car. The Wi-Fi was not very reliable, especially in the rooms.

The location is absolutely fantastic if you are looking for a low-key, natural environment without the hassle of the big resorts. The buildings are on a dirt-road with easy access to the main street and the colectivo to catch to Tulum or Playa. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, the staff is very nice and efficient (very little interaction with them). the room is very basic, no TV, phone or alarm clock! Would absolutely recommend it to anybody that wants the Mexican Riviera without the big resort feel!

Beautiful grounds, very clean and safe very friendly staff and owners. Good food and resonable price.

We were alittle confused about the breakfast part of the Brd and Breakfast. There were items in the kitchenette to make something but it wasn't prepared for you. There was a coffee maker and some awesome coffee though and we were quite happy with that. Looking forward to our stay again in a few days,

The accommodations were comfortable and clean, with daily cleaning and towel replacement. the location was convenient, with easy access to a beautiful beach and nearby attractions. the hosts were helpful and provided useful information about the area. Plus, having a kitchenette in the room was a great benefit for preparing meals.

The mattresses were uncomfortable and covered in noisy plastic. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Clean and modern cabins in a wonderful garden setting. The hosts are wonderful and their italian and mexican dishes served in the beautiful garden are excellent.

The only small flaw is that you hear the traffic on the highway, but we did not find this very disturbing.

Lot´s of nice details everywhere, very clean, comfortable & quiet location, but a litte bit far away from the beach. Top location if you come with your one car !

The property was beautifully renovated and situated in a lush jungle setting. the hosts were pleasant and accommodating, providing helpful suggestions for nearby attractions. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with basic amenities provided. the swimming pool was a nice addition, offering a refreshing dip on hot days.

The breakfast provided was quite minimal, consisting only of sliced bread, jam, and coffee. It would have been nice to have more options or a more substantial meal.
